About Us

Who is Brian Lawrence?

Brian Lawrence has been involved in the wedding and stationery industry since 1981. He owned as many as seven retail stores that provided one-stop-shopping for the bride as well as separate limousine, photography, invitation and favor businesses.

Since 1991 he has served as a consultant to the wedding industry. He has acted in an advisory capacity to companies such as The Beverly Clark Collection, Business Cards Tomorrow, Contemporary Bride Magazine and Sarno and Sons.

He now serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Encore Studios, an industry trend-setting invitation manufacturer. His insights on invitations have appeared in magazines such as Modern Bride, For The Bride, Brides Guide, Brides Day, Wedding Day and Bar/Bat Mitzvah Guide as well as various newspapers. Brian is available for industry writing assignments, seminars and workshops and wedding business consulting.

Writing and Speaking Experience

Author of The Wedding Expert’s Guide To Sales & Marketing, a self-published industry-specific manual praised by Flowers & magazine, Mobil Beat, Studio Photography and recommended by The Association of Bridal Consultants. Just released in 2005 is "The Invitation Business Report" written specifically to help stationery retailers grow their business. With a passion for trying to perserve the retail brick and mortar environment for the bridal and stationery industry, he studied and released a report in 2006 on using the internet strictly to increase local business rather than selling online.
